Boxster RS 60 Spyder

O Boxster RS 60 Spyder, edição limitada do roadster da Porsche, será apresentado ao público no Salão do Automóvel de Bolonha, no começo de dezembro. Baseada no Boxster S, esta versão especial homenageia um dos carros de corrida mais importantes da história da marca: o 718 RS 60 Spyder, vencedor de diversas competições internacionais nas décadas de 1950 e 1960.

A comercialização do Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder será iniciada em março de 2008. Cor, design, características e filosofia fazem a ligação entre o modelo da década de 1950 e o Boxster que o homenageia. Ambos foram concebidos para dois passageiros e possuem motor central. No Boxster RS 60 Spyder, o estilo da dianteira adota como padrão o pacote SportDesign, distinguindo-o do Boxster S. O sistema de exaustão, modificado, foi combinado com uma ponteira dupla de escapamento com dupla saída. O motor teve a potência aumentada para 303 cv (295 cv no Boxster S). Com a aplicação de espaçadores, as rodas (de 19 polegadas e também integrantes do pacote SportDesign) ficaram em posição ainda mais proeminente sob os arcos dos pára-lamas. O Boxster RS 60 Spyder é dotado de suspensão ativa PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management, gerenciamento de suspensão ativa Porsche).

A pintura prateada forma um contraste atraente com o interior revestido com couro natural na cor Vermelho Carrera. O teto também recebe acabamento em vermelho. Como opção, pode-se pedir revestimento interno em couro natural cinza escuro com capota preta. A produção do Boxster RS 60 Spyder será de 1.960 unidades e cada uma será identificada por uma plaqueta prateada na tampa do porta-luvas.

Detalhes de acabamento dão ao Boxster RS 60 Spyder uma aparência especial e sofisticada. Nas soleiras das portas, tiras em aço inoxidável ostentam o nome “RS 60 Spyder”. A aparência esportiva é realçada pela alavanca de câmbio (com desenho diferente da usada no Boxster S) e por ranhuras especiais na superfície do revestimento de couro aplicado na parte central dos assentos e dos revestimentos das portas, na borda do volante e na alavanca do freio de mão.

No painel, os instrumentos ficam em posição mais baixa nesta versão especial e as molduras recebem acabamento frontal na cor prata. O conta-giros em posição central, ladeado por dois mostradores, reproduz o espírito dos carros de corrida da época. Completam o conjunto a moldura do pára-brisa dianteiro com acabamento em preto e vermelho; o console central e as seções traseiras do apoio das costas nos assentos e os protetores de cabeça com acabamento na cor Prata Metálico GT; e os cintos de segurança na cor prata.

O Porsche 718 RS 60 Spyder foi um dos carros de corrida lendários da marca de Stuttgart. Inúmeras vezes vencedor em sua categoria, o RS 60 Spyder também conseguiu superar modelos enquadrados em categorias reservadas a veículos com motores maiores. A primeira dessas vitórias aconteceu na 12 Horas de Sebring, nos Estados Unidos, em 1960. Revezaram-se ao volante o alemão Hans Herrmann e o belga Olivier Gendebien.

The count-turns in central position, tipped for two counters, reproduce the spirit of the cars of race of the time. The frame of the front windscreen with finishing in black color and red complete the set; the central console and the back sections of the support of the coasts in the seats and the protectors of head with finishing in the Metallic color Silver GT; e the belts of security in the color silver.
